Abstract:
The greatest personalities of the world understood the importance of faith and provided numerous sayings about the glory of God: Michelangelo (1475-1564) said: “God did not create us to abandon us”; also, Ambroise Paré (1509-1590) said: “I dressed your wounds, God healed you”. The famous physicist and encyclopaedist Albert Einstein (1879-1955) presented a synthesis of the connection and meeting between science and faith by his well-known saying: “Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind”. All the knowledge gathered until now and the numerous spoken or written testimonies are proof that the neurosurgical act must be continuously corelated with faith in God. This faith must also be transmitted by the neurosurgeon to his patients.
