Abstract:
Holy Scripture is the history of the relation between God and man and the latter redemption from the corruption of nature and the sin of disobedience. It is also the true spiritual history of the world. Many people focus on some interesting elements found in Scripture or have different mean curiosities, but ignore the fact that the goal of this holy history is the Lord’s Incarnation for saving the world and our adoption by the God the Father through His Son. With the help of the most famous exegete of the Bible, Saint John Chrysostom, the author concentrates on the mystic aspect of the man’s fall and redemption. Before this, he begins with the first fall, that of Lucifer and of his angels, followed by that of Adam and Eve, continuing by the latter rising to heaven by the Second Adam in the new Garden of Eden – the Church – and ending with the second fall of man, that followed again the snake’s advice, that will be condemned eternally.
