Abstract:
The relations between the Archdiocese of Ramnic and the Anthim Monastery in Bucharest are not limited to those of the founder. Immediately after the Second World War, when the Communist atheist power began to rule in our country, there was a cultural and spiritual movement that tried to help the faithful of our Church to withstand red-materialism: it was called Burning Bush Movement. This movement, as we shall see, intensified the connections between the Monastery of All Saints, founded by Anthim the Iberian, and the Archdiocese of Ramnic. In the summer of 1947, the Burning Bush Movement had a spiritual retreat at the Govora Monastery, thoroughly prepared by Father Adrian Făgețeanu. Along with the spiritual image of Father Adrian Făgețeanu, in the spiritual relations between the Burning Bush Movement and Govora Monastery, there are also those of Father Paulin Lecca and the future metropolitan of Cluj, Bartolomeu Anania.
